How lessons are made
Sources
Every lesson starts from published textbooks and other reliable sources. Each one lists them under "Pairs with" (the textbook chapter it supports) and "Further reading". Research findings are checked against the original paper, and language and finance facts against official or standard references. Studyfern is a companion to these books, not a replacement for them.
Own words
Lessons are written in my own words and from my own view of what helped me understand the idea. Every question, sentence and number is written fresh: textbook passages, exercises and examples are not copied. Where a short quotation is needed, it is marked and credited.
Checked twice before it goes up
- Every fact is checked against a source: numbers, dates, definitions, formulas, study findings, and Japanese and French forms.
- Every worked example and every answer is recalculated, and every wrong option in a quiz is checked to be really wrong, with an explanation that matches.
- A second, separate check reads the lesson only to look for errors.
- Ann P. approves it. Only approved lessons appear on the site. Each page shows the date it was last updated.
Corrections
